TriAngle is organising the first "HKBU WZQ Makers" this summer in collaboration with Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge To China) Charitable Foundation. HKBU students are welcome to join and explore Mui Tsz Lam with us and senior friends. In Mui Tsz Lam, you will discover the beauty of nature and experience the charisma of Hakka culture. To understand more about local traditional culture, participants will interview villagers about the challenges they are facing. HKBU students will also team up with senior friends to brainstorm about promoting and revitalising local rural areas with innovative plans. All participants will receive a subsidy of HKD500, and can pitch for a Social Innovation Kick-start Fund of HKD 5,000 to implement the projects they pitch.
In addition, two young scholars will also be invited to help evaluate the programme, and will receive an allowance of HKD 8,000 as Social Impact Researchers.
Join the "HKBU WZQ Makers" programme to explore Mui Tsz Lam's rural environment and revitalise the area together.
