Imagine that one day you can no longer eat your favourite food and are fed with “pureed meals" every day--how would you feel? Does it ever occur to you that this is the daily routine of people with dysphagia? On another note, when we get old, is eating just for survival? The Project Futurus, a social enterprise, strives to promote positive ageing in the community through organising activities such as softmeal-making workshops and “Sensory Restaurant on Wheels™”. By joining this activity, participants will learn to make softmeals as a way to restore the shape and taste of different dim sum dishes so that people with dysphagia can also eat with dignity.
