Abstract

This workshop aims to empower faculty and teaching staff to conduct action research on their own service-learning courses so as to bring about improvements in teaching and learning. In the workshop, Prof. Sivan will introduce the action research framework and share practical examples of action research projects in service-learning from her own research and projects. In addition, hands-on activities will be offered through which participants will walk through the process of integrating action research into their own service-learning courses.
