The Centre for Innovative Service-Learning wishes you all a happy and healthy new year to come! We’re welcoming the Year of the Tiger. Tigers are courageous, energetic, strong, and love challenges. These traits coincidentally echo some of the essences we precisely need to embrace and tackle with the ever-changing new normal. Let’s enjoy the festivities, have our fingers crossed and look forward to the full resumption of face-to-face classes again very soon!
START YOUR SERVICE-LEARNING JOURNEY FROM HERE TO EVERYWHERE
Our students showed their creativity and imagination to accomplish different service-learning (SL) projects, resulting in a lot of fruitful outcomes and successful deliverables. After the 4th anniversary CISL celebrated in December, we would like to use this newsletter to introduce our new SL line-up in Semester 2 and showcase our SL achievements last semester. Regardless of the pandemic, we will continue to support all the students, teachers, community partners, and our beneficiaries.

We were excited to launch Tricycle towards the end of AY2020-21, our annual publication that featured the care and creativity of our students and SL course instructors at HKBU. It covered the courses that contained their extraordinary work done and miles walked throughout their service-learning journey.
Enrol in our HKBU CISL1001 Introduction to Academic Service-Learning e-learning module on Moodle and sail through the journey of a service-learning experience in the formal curriculum. You don’t want to forget that it’s also CCL-recognised!
